Teachers' Formal Education

Because education is a top priority for countries such as Singapore and Korea, teachers receive much more training and many of them continue on to postgraduate education. Thirty-five percent of teachers in Korea and eighteen percent of teachers in Singapore have completed a postgraduate degree while only two percent of teachers in South Africa and twelve percent of teachers in Kuwait have completed a postgraduate degree.
